How The Glenn Beck Craze Began on Fox News

From Ryan Witt, Political Buzz Examiner.com

This week the two year marriage between Glenn Beck and Fox News will officially come to an end.  While progressives celebrate the end of Beck on Fox, even the critics of Beck must admit that it has been an entertaining ride along the way.  Beck was relatively unknown when he had a show on Headline News, but suddenly became a sensation at the 5 pm time slot on Fox News.  At one point, Beck was drawing a larger audience that Fox News’ superstar Bill O’Reilly.  Beck leaves as more of a falling star.  Fox News has struggled to deal with an advertising boycott against Beck, and his ratings in key demographic groups has plummeted over the past year.

After this Friday, that audience will have to start looking for their answers from someplace else than the 5 pm time slot on Fox News.
