Harvey Pekar Library Statue

Excerpt:  Joyce Brabner, widow of the irascible artist Harvey Pekar, has started a campaign to raise money for a desk and sculpture to be installed in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library.

The tribute is not a statue, but a functional desk that would be filled with paper and pencils for people to sit and write or draw comics at the library where Pekar liked to work.
