Ken Starr Continuing to Fight the (Useless?) Fight

This afternoon while driving home, I was amazed to hear that Baylor President Ken Starr would be a guest on Sirius/XM Channel 91 College Football Playbook with our friends Jack and Coach Leach.  What was Ken's topic of choice today?  Well, the topic he seems to have quite the fascination with the past couple of weeks, the school just south of the treasure and Texas economic powerhouse that is Waco, Texas:  Texas A&M

Baylor President Ken Starr on the "State of College Athletics" but really Texas A&M

What's even better is that Baylor President Ken Starr has not only been appearing on radio shows talking about Texas A&M and how they will destroy the tradition of college athletics (tradition must not involve trying to enroll players from other universities as Baylor looks to accept a transfer from Will Lyles associate Lache Seastrunk) , the rivalries (funny how Baylor didn't care about killing rivalries with University of Houston, Rice, SMU, and TCU when they bolted for the Big XII with everyone else) , and the economic impact Texas A&M will have on the state if they decide to leave for the SEC (for a real look, check out this from our friend Kristi Dosh) but he has also been in contact with SEC school presidents in an attempt to halt Texas A&M's progress from a switch in conferences.

TexAgs.com user BohunkAg filed a FOIA request to the University of Georgia requesting any emails involving Baylor President Ken Starr.  This was the email he received back.  Correspondence is with Michael F. Adams, the President of the University of Georgia

We simply ask, why is the President of Baylor University emailing SEC presidents?  To interfere with Texas A&M's possible move to the Southeastern Conference?  It's not hard to put all the pieces together from Neal T. "Buddy" Jones, Ken Starr, and the Perryman group to see who is providing the roadblocks in Texas A&M's move.

We must also point out that President Adams and President Starr know each other from their time at Pepperdine University where they both worked together as administrators.

As President Starr said on the College Football Playbook today, it's a free country (when asked about the Longhorn Network).  Why should he care what Texas A&M does and why should he be so involved in this process?
